Eventicon is a google chrome extension that detects unseen notifications of popular social network and communication sites and displays them in the favicon of the site.

It currently works on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, GMail and Reddit. More sites should probably work, please send feedback if you know a site that you want to be supported.
