Tool to validate HTML of the current web page.
HTML Validator is an extension to validate the HTML code of the current web page.
Have it run automatically, click the icon for a menu or press any of the keyboard shortcuts (see below) to validate the current web page.
You can choose to get the validation results directly inline in the current web page or open them in a new tab with the w3c validator results, both for public URLs and local html (i.e.code in a page that is not globally accessible on the Internet).
For inline validation, the extension badge will show the number of validation errors once validation is complete.
This works automatically for both locally and publically available content.
Keyboard shortcuts: Windows/Linux: press ctrl + Shift + V to validate a page press ctrl + Shift + A to validate a local page Mac: press cmd + Shift + V to validate a page press cmd + Shift + A to validate a local page Press Esc to hide the list of validation errors.
