Send or push url of a web page of your current active tab in desktop Chrome to KDE Connect on your android mobile phone Open….

Send or push url of a web page of your current active tab in desktop Chrome to KDE Connect on your android mobile phone Open source at https://github.com/phpmoli/kdeconnect-chrome In store at https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/jniioigoopmlbeceondbcpgnbimeghhj Permissions required: - Native Messaging for executing external commands on the system as it uses a 3rd party package.

The open source code has only 4 lines of actual code and can be reviewed under a minute.

**TO WORK YOU NEED TO manually install files FROM THE GITHUB REPOSITORY TOO.

** This is not my game, this is a must for Chrome Native Messaging, that needs manual install to prevent malicious extensions which can execute anything on your system.

And since you are going on github, you should read the source to check the code is benevolent, so anyway its a win.

My first Chrome extension, in beta stage, without error handling.

Written for Debian + Chrome only (edit: now Vivaldi), feel free to include support for BSD or Opera, the source is open.

Having said that, i dont see this tool to be developed any further as it should be written using native code and not by using a system call.

I chose my way because it was the fastest.

Inspired by https://kamikazow.wordpress.com/2014/11/22/send-firefox-tabs-to-your-phone-via-kde-connect/ Why install a package and not using kdeconnect-cli Heres why: ``` $ kdeconnect-cli --list-devices - myandroid: bc61836a282b2b7e (paired and reachable) 1 devices found $ kdeconnect-cli --device bc61836a282b2b7e --ping ; echo $ 0 $ kdeconnect-cli --device bc61836a282b2b7f --ping ; echo $ 0 ``` version 0.3 does not need All tabs permission anymore, as since https://github.com/phpmoli/kdeconnect-chrome/issues/1 we were not using it anyway.

kdeconnect is deleted from https://chrome.google.com/webstore/. Previously it is on chrome store, its urls is https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/kdeconnect/jniioigoopmlbeceondbcpgnbimeghhj
