PinTabAlt Mozilla Addon

The Problem:
firefox stores a list of pinned tabs. This list is regenerated every time you close a window. When you close a window with pinned tabs that list is updated so it contains the pinned tabs present. If you close window with no pinned tabs, that list is erased.

This means that Firefox will forget your pinned tabs if you accidentally close your main window (with the pinned tabs) before another firefox window (that does not have these tabs).

This Fix:
When using this extension firefox will only update the list of pinned tabs if the window being closed actually has a pinned tab. So if you accidentally close your main window (with the pinned tabs) before another Firefox window (that does not have these tabs), Firefox will still remember your pinned tabs.

** PinTabAlt does not store the list of pinned tabs in the same place firefox usually does. This means your pinned tabs will be gone after installing PinTabAlt. Once you re-pin your tabs, however, things should work as described. **
