.Important note: It's possible that search engines created by this add-on may not handle non-latin characters correctly, since there's no way to specify input encoding in this version.
To add a new search engine to Firefox, go to Tools > Search Engine Creator.
In order to create a new engine, you must submit the exact search url with the
{searchTerms} variable, e.g. https://www.google.com/search?q={searchTerms}.---
If you want to have access to different search engines from the address bar, don't forget to set keywords when creating these engines (Using keyword searches). I also recommend installing the Context Search extension which allows you to choose non-default search engines when searching for selected text.
