NOTE: this extension will be deprecated in favor of 'HTML5 Video EveryWhere' extension
This extension will replace youtube video player with firefox native video player.
Also, some sites force using the old youtube flash player (e.g: Facebook,...), this extension will replace it with a html5 player.
Note: Some legacy sites force using flash player, you will need to install no-flash add-on to support them.
Support for DASH, subtitles and embed YouTube API is still not available yet.
NOTE: This extension will break a lot of extensions that uses youtube player api or change youtube page content because this extension will remove YouTube player from the page.
html5 video everywhere vs. simple youtube video player?
Well the same with just Youtube support enabled on simple youtube html5 video player; Same code base and updated on same time, but different on a static argument.
I will keep updating simple youtube html5 video player extension until more users switch to the new one.
