Scanner Monitor Chrome Extension

 This app will monitor and display information from your scanner for easy viewing and logging.  Originally designed for BCD436HP or BCD536HP scanners - some support for HP-1 is available.  

Simply connect your scanner with the usb cable in serial mode and select that port from the app.  Responses are logged and sorted by hit count. Results can be copied and pasted into a spreadsheet for further reviewing or saving.  (Press Ctrl-A to select all rows from the log)

With text-to-speech capabilities, you can also allow the app to speak when the scanner stops on a channel.  Helps so you dont have to always look at the screen to see which channel is broadcasting.

Access some of these basic features with your smartphone or tablet through the www.scannermonitor.com website.  This allows you to see the scanner info on your phone and send basic commands back to the BCDx36HP scanner that is connected to this app.  Audio streaming is available to compatible mobile browsers when connecting an audio cable from the scanner to the computer running the Chrome app.

This app is not affiliated with Uniden Corporation and is intended for personal use only.  This application is still in Beta.
