ContextDeleter chrome extension is ContextDeleter allows you to delete HTML elements on the fly..

contextdeleter allows you to delete html elements on the fly..

contextdeleter allows you to delete elements within websites that you do not want to see.

Are you reading a blog and theres an unsightly image that you dont want others to see right click the image and select "Delete this Element" to remove the element.

This is a very minimalist extension which injects itself into your right click menu.

As of version 0.1.0, all it does is delete elements.

I will add features as requested by users.

Flash elements and js generated html (as seen on Facebook) cannot be removed (however, you can remove the parent container of the flash element to remove the flash element).

HISTORY: 0.1.0: 2012 >> initial release >> allows deletion of images, HTML elements, etc.

0.2.0: 2012 >> small update >> added border on right click, which lets you see with greater ease what you will be deleting.

2.0.0: July 27th, 2016 >> biggest update, skipping 1.0.0 release >> faster and smaller, restructured the code, added locales, and generally made it better.

Now it reimplements the border styling it removed to add its target highlighter (blue box) on deselect (left mouse click, or right mouse click).

ContextDeleter is deleted from https://chrome.google.com/webstore/. Previously it is on chrome store, its urls is https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/contextdeleter/cdagpkhlnpefnkemlbcolbfjokjhgcda
