No need to visit google.com and hit the voice search icon.
Google will speak back to you for various search queries similar to Google Now for Android.
Example searches that speak back: "Weather for Vancouver, BC" "Places to eat in Seattle" "Set timer for 7 minutes" "Movies in Vancouver, BC" "Who directed star trek: Into Darkness" "What is the score for the Giants game" "Who is the president of the united states" "How old is Barack Obama" "How tall is LeBron James" "Who is Will Smith married to" Keyboard Shortcut: In order to setup gnow voice search to launch using a keyboard shortcut, go to chrome tools > Extensions and click the "Keyboard shortcuts" button at the bottom of the page.
