Message Count Chrome Extension

This is a quick little extension i made in a few hours.

Its a completely free extension that adds a little message counter for your facebook chat.

When the extension is installed, go to http://facebook.com/messages, and a little counter will appear next to the search icon.

The counter is "Live updating", and even works in group chats!

Due to "facebook being facebook", this only works on the "http://facebook.com/messages" page.

This extension does not work on any other page than the messages page.

Important to notice is that this extension is not 100% acurate.

(But close).

Its only to give an idea of how much time you wasted on the chat service.

version 1.2.5: * Fixed the bug, where the counter would fail to disappear, when the messages page was left.

Version 1.2.4: * The code has been optimized a lot, and the load-time for the messages page has been decreased a lot!

* The time between updates has been increased to 2 seconds, instead of 1 second.

This makes for a little bit longer update time, but for at smoother experience.

(This may become a setting one day.)

Version 1.2.3: * The days where we would have no counter because of an annoying bug are gone.

The counter has been moved to the panel on the right.

- The "Try to fix counter" button has been removed.

In that case: Refresh the page!
