When your friends have updated their diaries you get an orange number, and when you have new comments, PMs or new guestbook entries the icon turns orange, just like on the site.

It even turns half black/half orange when you only have new replies to comments!

Why does the extension request your permission for "Your entire web history" and "Your data on all websites" That is because a new feature has been added where you can upload images directly from other websites.

Just right-click on an image and press "Upload to Dayviews.com" and you will be taken to a tab where you can easily upload it.

It is 100% harmless!
