This artwork was inspired by the view from the Horizon Club at Shangri-la hotel,Tokyo. The artist describes her work:

“Depicted here is the goddess of the night, sleeping in the sky above Tokyo. She shines in the horizon, and wears the sparkle of the sky. She comes from the land of Shangri-La, and the dream she sees, adds drops of colour to the world of night. The sparkle born from her dreams continues to bring happiness to the people of the East.”
