Our initial motivation was the realisation that articles on the situation in Israel/palestine would invariably be followed by some links generating revenue for one side in that conflict. online news sources which should have been impartial sources of information were in fact raising money to continue funding the occupation. We found this very distasteful and felt compelled to inform the wider world of the consequences of their clicks.
