This extension transliterates i.e. converts any character in a web page that is encoded in a unicode / utf-8 in an indian language (Hindi, Bangla, Gujarati, Gurmukhi (Punjabi), Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu) into a target indian language. The default target is Hindi. Thus, one can view a punjabi web page in hindi alphabet, where the words are still punjabi words i.e. they are not translated.
