FEATURES:

Hide trending and sidebar. Hide the trending strip and sidebar on the r/all and r/popular feed

fix image previews. Clicking on image previews take you directly to the image itself, instead of to the comment section. image preview heights in gallery mode are fixed such that images no longer get vertically cut off.

add video download links. When viewing a video, download links are provided, using both a direct link and a redirect through redditsave.com. Note, does not work in image previews, view the image as a thread.

reddit chemo filter feed posts by subreddit as well as removal of some advertisements.

USAGE:

On installation, all features are enabled by default, however, the reddit chemo ban list still needs to be populated to see most of its effects. Features can be enabled, disabled, and modified through the extension's UI (accessed by clicking the extension logo on the browser Toolbar).

Dark mode. CSS styles can be adjusted from light to dark mode using the "Dark/Light mode" toggle in the extension's UI.

Hide trending and sidebar. Simply toggle "Show/hide trending bar" in the extension's UI.

Fix image previews. To enabled or disable, toggle "Fix image previews" in the extension's UI. Note that the effects may not be applied until a page change or refresh.

Add video download links. To enabled or disable, toggle "Add video download links" in the extension's UI. video links are only added when viewing a thread for a video. It does not work in video previews. In some cases, the video links may not appear correctly. You may try disabling and re-enabling this feature to force it. Otherwise, check your ad-block settings, as some ad-blockers (AdBlockPlus in particular) seems to be aggressive in removing the download links.

Reddit Chemo. To add subreddits to Reddit Chemo's ban list, simply click the "ban" button next to posts in the r/all or r/popular feed from subreddits you do not wish to see.

By default, a small strip will be shown in place of the blocked post with an option to remove the subreddit from the ban. To hide this strip, toggle "Show/hide blocked posts" in the extension's UI.

To remove subreddits from the ban, you can use the strip from blocked posts (if "show blocked posts" is toggled on) to remove the subreddit from the ban list. Alternatively, you can click "edit banned list" in the extension's UI to view the full ban list and remove subreddits from it. The effects of removing subreddits from the ban list may not take effect until a page change or refresh.
