opens photos posted to Gawker sites in a new tab at their original size.
This extension enables you to view an image posted to a Kinja blog (Jalopnik, OppositeLock, io9, Gawker, etc.) in its originally uploaded size. To view an image's original size, you had to open it in a new tab and change the file name to "original.jpg." This extension streamlines that process.
To use:
Hover your cursor over an image, right click, and select "open original size in new tab." The image will open in a new tab in its largest available size.
Note: Often, authors crop the leading images to the minimum size before publishing. This extension won't enable you to view such images at a larger size.
