HOW TO USE FOR GOOGLE CALENDAR:
• Open Google Calendar
• In a new event or existing calendar event, click on “Add Otter Meeting Notes.” This will insert an otter meeting link in the event description.
• Choose who you would like to share these meeting notes with and their permission level. By default, they will be shared with your calendar event guests, with editing permissions.
• Choose how you would like to record and transcribe this meeting. If you're a basic or pro user, you can use the otter web app, mobile app (Android or iOS), or Chrome extension (for conversations on Google Meet). If you're a business user, you can also use the Otter Assistant for meetings on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Cisco Webex.
• You're all set! Now, the people you want to share the meeting notes with can easily find the otter link in the event invite.
HOW TO USE FOR GOOGLE MEET:
• start google meet in your browser
• click on the Otter.ai chrome extension icon to open the extension. Sign up or log in.
• Click on the Record button
• Click the CC button to open live captions
• Click the || button to pause, then either select resume recording or Stop Recording
• Two ways to highlight: (1) click and drag to select some text, then click the Highlight icon in the popup menu; (2) click the Highlight button at the lower right corner to highlight the last sentence(s) instantly.
• The audio transcript is automatically saved in your Otter account
