This extension does not track what you type into search fields because that method would degrade your browser's performance. Your past searches is only pulled from the URLs in your browser's history (from the last 2 days only) on demand. This method is significantly lighter on resources. However, if you clear your browser history, your past searches will be inaccessible.

Permissions:

This extension requires "history" permissions because it will pull your recent searches from your browser history. Nothing is shared with anyone and nothing leaves your computer.
