Extract the CSS/HTML for any element on any page, only take the styles you want.
Let the snip kiwi get all the CSS you need from any existing design!
SnipCSS copies a subtree of DOM elements and extracts all css styles associated with that subtree of elements. Now any cool design you see on the web can be your personal template for quick prototyping!
Unlike other css extractor extensions that use "Computed Styles", SnipCSS uses the chrome devtools protocol. Just like when you use devtools you see a list of associated styles, SnipCSS reconstructs that list for each element in the subtree of the DOM snippet. It also downloads images, fonts and everything else needed to recreate the design.
Version 1.3 introduced zip exports, inherited styles and more options. Version 1.3.5 added animation keyframes, google font detection and a progress counter. Version 1.4 introduced a beta version of templates. Version1.4.5 has more fixes and reduced permissions by using activetab instead of all urls.
