This extension runs a scaled down version of our platform so that physicians and healthcare providers can easily log time into Thoroughcare from within their own EHR where they do most of their daily activities such viewing lab results and vital statistics, ordering prescriptions, and scheduling office visits. AthenaHealth.com requires authentication and this extension functions when the user has a successful login and is viewing a patient's chart. No sensitive information is transferred or read by our extension. Rather it uses the patient's native ID from within AthenaHealth.com platform. Using that identifier, the patient is located within thoroughcare. The UI of the extension provides a clock/timer which can be started, paused, stopped, and finally the time spent on a specific tasks are logged in Thoroughcare. The session expires when the user's athenahealth session ends, and we also expire sessions after 30 mins of inactivity.
