It is the fun way to create stories and share them with friends.

'Based On A Story' is a word challenge to test if you can make something out of a limited number of characters.

To get better at your craft, you as a writer need to practice, practice, practice! What better way to do that than through a simple tool that let's you type your story, save it to your portfolio and share it on social media, all with a click of a button.

To get started just click on the 'Based On A Story' extension icon. A popup window will display showing the word-of-the-day and a login button. Use your social media credentials to login and 'voila!' you are ready to type your story on the provided text area.

Remember to use the given word-of-the-day in your story. 16 characters have been reserved for the hashtag (#basedonastory). You may go to Twitter and browse all the stories shared using that hashtag.

Once you have finished typing in your story, you click on the 'Save and Share' button and the screen to post on Social Media is displayed. Once you have shared your story, you may come back to view all your previously saved stories.
